Peri Health - Perimenopause Tracker
Last updated: May 8, 2026
Your privacy is foundational to Peri Health. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Symptom logs are stored locally on your device using Apple encrypted storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
If you connect Apple Health, Peri Health reads sleep duration and heart rate solely to pre-fill your daily log. We do not transmit Apple Health data to any server. You can revoke permission in iOS Settings - Health - Data Access and Devices.
When you request AI insights, a statistical summary of your symptoms (averages, frequency counts) is sent to Anthropic Claude API over an encrypted connection. Raw log entries and personal identifiers are never sent. Anthropic data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy at anthropic.com.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. The only external service that receives data is Anthropic Claude API (statistical summaries only), and only when you actively request an AI feature.
All symptom data is stored on your device. Deleting the Peri Health app permanently removes all locally stored data. There is no server-side account to delete.
Data stored on your device is protected by iOS data protection encryption. Data in transit to the Claude API uses TLS 1.2 or higher.
Peri Health is designed for adults experiencing perimenopause. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 13.
